Sara James' First Haircut
Well, due to the fact that Sara James was beginning to sport a hair style that was part mullet, part Florence Henderson flip, we opted to include her first cut as a part of our Thanksgiving trip to Columbus. I think Tricia and I each prepared ourselves for the worst, but SJC was really great...until the blow dryer was flipped on. Then she went from gentle crying to sobbing to clutching Tricia's neck in about two seconds. However, during the cut itself she was great. The movie playing and the fantastic staff kept her entertained, and not only does she look less like a ragamuffin, but she also looks a good bit older. Enjoy this little glimpse into our experience!

Weekend in Auburn
We spent this past Sunday in Auburn (or, as Tricia likes to call it, "The Promised Land") celebrating the 85th birthday of Tricia's granddaddy Leon. Sara James enjoyed a day with extended family (Tricia's cousin Kathryn and SJC became fast friends!), and had fun mugging for the camera as we took family photos at Samford Hall. Nana convinced Sara James to give the pig suit one more go, much to the entertainment of Uncle Chris (and anyone who walked by). Enjoy!
